Dear Customers,
It has come to our attention that the Escofar fish we serve under the label “White Tuna” may have caused confusion for some customers. Therefore, as part of our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we will be changing the label from “White Tuna” to “Escolar” to prevent this unintended confusion in the future. While there is no species of fish called “White Tuna”, the label “White Tuna” is a commonly used name to represent Escolar (also known as Snake Mackerel). To reduce unintended confusion and ensure that customers receive the expected fish, as of today, all our menus will reflect the change from “White Tuna” to “Escolar”. If you are uncomfortable with the past label and wish to receive refund for an unintentional order, of Escolar, we will provide a refund for purchases of While Tana with a proof of purchase. Customers that no longer have proof of purchase can discuss with a manager about whether their purchase qualifies for a refund. We regret if this caused an. inconvenience. Please be assured that there will be no change to quality of our fish or pricing resulting from this change.
Thank you,
Tomomi Sushi Management
